Make your Own Nursing Pillow
This is a baby nursing pillow I made as I am soon to have a second baby. You can use cotton as the basic pillow (this is IKEA fabric) and then make a slip cover if you wish from cotton or fleece so its easy to wash.
It takes about two metres of fabric to be safe. You need pillow stuffing or foam chunks to pad it out firmly so the baby is held up high, saving your arm aching from the long hold. I didn't have one for baby one but I promised I would buy or make one this time. After seeing they are retail $80, this called for me having a go.
Contact me and I can email you a free nursing pillow pattern/template.
Best of luck and let me know how you go.
